Hello Everyone! :)
Well 2015 Nanowrimo didn't go as planned due to constant sinus migraines. *sigh* I did; however, manage to get 640,196 words through out the month :) I'm not going to lie, I could have pushed to a million but other than the migraines I was getting bored of what I was writing.
On the good side, I will be taking an accounting position starting Mid-February! This means less stress and less overtime so that I'm not so mentally stressed. I'm hoping that makes April Camp Nano a little easier depending on the goal I pick.
I hope everyone else's November went awesome!

Nano Eve
Well the night before Nano is soon upon us :) I still have to set up my desk, my office chair and matt have to be brought in and bring in my many braces/keyboards. My body has blessed me with a migraine which doesn't surprise me in the least but thank goodness my migraine medication seems to be holding *crosses fingers*
Below are some of the prizes that I can win every 25k! My husband is going to set out prizes for me tomorrow since I will be home alone for most of the day. I will try and blog each day about which ones I achieve and how I incorporate them into a story/novel.
So bring on the insanity! Good-bye free time and lets start the best holiday of the year, Nanowrimo.

Insanity All Over Again
In April I was able to pull off the million for the first time! *dances* It was a month of absolutely hell at work where I didn't want to get up but luckily I had my writing. It started out so smooth for April where I was making my daily amount easily but the problem with that is I didn't make a "buffer" for when I had my days of migraines. Do to having chronic migraines, I usually have at least one day where I'm unable to write but I'm hoping I can prevent this with stronger medication this year. Below is the amount I wrote each day!!
I wish I would have written on the blog while I was in April but as you can see above I was over my head trying to get this done. I only took two days off in April and that was the 15th and 16th I believe. Work days I find very good for my "schedule" and I end up with a pretty even word count as where the days off I have trouble following my made up schedule.
On the last weekend of April Camp Nanowrimo there was a huge snow storm that knocked the power on and off for Saturday and Sunday. Not going to lie, I almost gave up the million just out of pure frustration of not being able to write with no power. I was using my old laptop which only had a half hour of life when not plugged in. My old laptop has the BEST keyboard for speed writing since it is completely flat and I don't have to lift my fingers quite as much. I've bought a couple keyboards this year (you will hear about later) so that I can use the Alienware the entire month.
I hit a couple of records in April that I didn't think I would be able to do. First, I was able to get to 150 wpm for 15 minutes! I can't believe that I was able to do this and though I don't want to continue at that speed (too hard on the poor wrists), I'm so happy that I was able to achieve this. Second, I was able to do three 50k days in a row and I've never even been able to do two before. As long as I didn't "think" about how many hours I had to write each day it was okay :) JUST KEEP WRITING, don't think. Third, I was able to break my daily record and achieve 71,075 words in a day. Though I was going for 75k, I'm still more than happy I was able to get that amount. Fourth, I got a Million Words in One Month!!
I'm so proud with this Million Month because I finally finished up my series and got a new ending. I started a book that ended up tying up all my other 11 (ish) books together and making it all make more sense. I swore to never do another Million Word Month but here I am planning to do possibly more in the future month. This is mostly due to Mental Stress at work that I want to write a lot in one month. Writing overall calms my mind and lets me work through things so I figured a high word count will be helpful more than harmful.
I have a couple of products that I'm trying for November that I want to review as I push them to their absolute limits.
New Keyboards
Rapoo - 2.4G Blade Series (E9070) - http://otvtech.ca/catalogue?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_stock.tpl&product_id=19930&category_id=401
Blue Diamond (Ultra-Slim:35756) - http://otvtech.ca/catalogue?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_stock.tpl&product_id=21803&category_id=401
I will be comparing these keyboards to my existing corded Apple Keyboard since I won't be using my Alienware for any speed typing.
Braces
Dritz - Crafter's Comfort Glove - http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B002Y2IWNY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
Neo G Airflow Wrist Support - http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00DQR6184?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
The Dritz gloves are well known for how great they are so I'm very excited to finally be trying them! The Neo ones had good reviews other than getting the little cotton balls all over them. Due to past wrist injuries, my wrists are not huge fans of speed writing so I'm hoping these will help hold them in place.
Well that is all for now! :) I'm excited to be planning again for this great month with all my great writing friends.

February! The feeling is back :)
For my fellow writers out there, the love for writing is back 110% and I'm absolutely in love. I discovered a new plot with my favorite characters that is just blowing me away. To have the feeling of off balance and uncomfortable when writing through scenes that you have no idea what is going to happen just makes me feel like I'm reading a new book. But I'm writing it! Plus through this all I'm able to break my speed writing records and brings me closer and closer to my dream goal for being able to write at 150 wpm.
My dear Shift is stuck in another plot that will take her to new places that she never would have imagined. So much for a happy ending? I have no idea myself quite yet! Thank you to my loving group of Year Round Nanoers who I'm holding completely responsible for being able to have this happiness again. Why does not everyone write? They are truly missing out :)
Enough rambling for one evening but thank you for a great day! A good workout where I was able to push 20 minutes of jogging out of 30 minutes on the treadmill without too much pain in my knees. Then my slightly annoyed stomach took 30 crunches and though I will feel it tomorrow, I'm feeling very good right now and I'm hoping for a much needed long sleep.
Nighty night all! I'm so excited to wake up tomorrow and write more adventures that just keep me on the edge of my chair.

Day 20 of 365
How did this month go so fast and that the end of the month is next week? It is completely insane and I'm happy to bring a little more me style word count!! 7216 words written today and I could not be prouder of it!! :D A little new adventure that I am putting Shift and Grave through and so far I'm not sure how it will come out but I'm happy to be on this one.
Well ... WHOO! I'm off to just hangout with the husband since I have not done that as much as I should have.
Nighty Night!

Day 19 of 365!
It was a ruff day but I must say I have a great feeling inside me right now. I can't explain it but when your doctors tells you that you should box and you have always wanted to... it feels good!! :)
A good 2018 words written today and some kick ass music listened to. Can life always feel this good? Please??! :) Might jump on the treadmill as well and push this day for all its worth.
Thank you life :) I needed a little more happiness every once and awhile.
-Jess
PS - Did a quick 15 minute OAR and got another 1846!!! YAY! 123 words per minute and slowly getting closer to my goal of 150 wpm! I CAN DO IT! *cries slightly* 3864 words altogether today.
